Wednesday Book Giveaway: The Gifts Of Imperfection....

"Let go of who you think you are supposed to be and embracing who you are.
The guide to the whole hearted life."

I'm not much into self help books
but this little one seriously changed the way I looked at myself
and those around me
this summer
I learned what made me different
and what makes me the same.

When we fell down the Rabbit Hole and were trying to figure out what Wholehearted Theraputic living was all about this was a key piece to the puzzle because it said that we didn't have to be perfect to be a family.  That we were all learning and growing together.  And it reminded me that the biggest key was being actively present in our lives at all times.  ALL TIMES.  Even when battling shame, depression, fear, anxiety, depression, failure, exhaustion, dejectedness and a plethora of other emotions that tempt us to separate from the people in our lives.  I believe that moving away from or allowing your heart to separate from the most intimate relationships in your life is one of the most damaging things a person can do to themselves. I believe that it destroys us from the inside out and allows space for all sorts of problems to take root. This book gave me a framework for understanding why I believe those things.

So I want to give away two more copies of this book.
If you want to read it
if you want to share it
or if you need to hear that it's not too late
to change a pattern of disconnecting
(because it is never too late-until you are dead)
then post either 'read it', 'share it', or 'not dead yet'  in the comments section
and I will use the random child choice method (kiddo pick a number) and post next Monday who the winners are and get them into the mail ASAP.
Because I want your lives to be fuller also.

Blessings on a wholehearted day. May you feel both the pain and the joy of your journey...and may you share the blessings with those around you!

May I say all 3? Share it with 2, right in my family, need to read it to encourage some to NOT disconnect and not dead yet, but sometimes think the ones disconnecting will put me over the edge. Thanks
