Family Style In-Home Therapies.....

As much as I would love to include outside OT/PT therapies in our schedule I haven't found a way to make it work without rocking the crew.  So I have been researching the Internet and gleaning ideas from my friends who do actually have OT/PT regularly on their calenders and developing out own 'family style' home OT/PT program to help address a few of our more pressing needs......

Like the 'Bosu ball - Love Sac - flying child therapy'

And the 'Thinking Putty till your hands ache....'

As well as the 'roller boy' tactile game......

And the 'strange looking critter in Body Pod....'

And never to be neglected the 'Rody Max vs Little Rody hopping race game...'

We're taking a break from outside OT right now, so I loved these ideas. For some reason, I couldn't get your links to work. I'd love to learn more about the Body Pod.

Looks like you have some great ideas. We use many of those. My kids also love the weighted blanket and the holding up the wall game. You have the child pretend a wall is falling down and push on it as hard as you can to put it back into place like Superman. We just dropped out of the home Speech for similar reasons. I will continue to work on it at home.
Blessings,
Dawn
