At this moment I am so thankful my mommy taught me to make gravy the old fashioned way. So many women in my generation don't know how to make it and I love good gravy. Thanks mom!
Embarrassingly, I haven't a clue how to make gravy of any kind. But I am extremely thankful my mother-in-law taught my husband how to make good ol' fashioned gravy! Yum!
We're praying for your family as you sort out everything for your upcoming journey. elisa
It's funny how much that impresses people. That and plain old boiling rice on the stove. I know very few things about cooking, but somehow if I flash those two easiest of skills, people are just wowed. Oh, and pie crust!

I'm thankful for that, too! We went to friends' for dinner and I made the gravy! ;)
